Laurie Stoneham
writer . author . filmmaker

Making movies
Instead of writing a research paper for her master's thesis, Laurie wrote, directed and edited a 35mm film on Beginning Beekeeping for the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
Video has played an important role in Laurie's career, and she's returning to those roots as an independent filmmaker.
Her first documentary is a tribute to Hunnert - Austin's oldest, hippest and happiest hippie, and probably Laurie's greatest love. Hunnert is currently in production and slated for release in Spring, 2017.
The Austin American-Statesman's John Kelso recently wrote a very cool profile of his friend and this film - read here.
Laurie's goal is to start a business producing video memoirs for families to preserve the stories and memories of multiple generations.
